Waterside Dermatology and Laser center provides a full range of dermatology services to infants, children, and adults. Dr. Stanley D. Hoffman, M.D. is board certified and provides the highest quality outpatient care.
Dr. Hoffman with the help of the Physician Assistant will review your medical history, assess your condition, and prescribe treatment based on the latest research and proven technology.

Stanley D. Hoffman, M.D.
Education:
Dr. Hoffman received two Bachelor of Science degrees in Life Science and Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the New York University Bellevue School of Medicine in 1974. He completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore. His dermatology residency was at the State University of New York at Buffalo Affiliated Hospitals.

Expertise:
Dr. Hoffman has been practicing dermatology for over 30 years and has a special interest in rare and difficult dermatology cases. He makes extensive use of internet resources and dermatology services from Duke University Medical Center and Bowman Gray/Wake Forest. Dr. Hoffman specializes in Allergen patch testing which is done for allergic contact dermatitis. Surgical removal across the spectrum of benign lesions such as moles and warts to skin cancer is performed in the office with the most advanced surgical instrumentation on the market today.
Debra Powell, PA-C
Debra, owner of Totally Fit 4 Life, a successful weight loss practice, has partnered with Dr. Hoffman to create a practice that specializes in all areas of medical and cosmetic dermatology. Debra graduated from Alderson Broaddus College in West Virginia (1994). She has extensive experience in family practice, rural health, and emergency medicine.
